It was first discovered in human plasma in 1973 by scientist Dr. Loren Pickart. Formulation tips:

Avoid strong acids:

GHK Cu should not be used together with high concentrations of vitamin C (ascorbic acid), fruit acids (AHA), salicylic acid (BHA), and other strongly acidic ingredients. Acidic environments can destroy its structure, leading to the release of copper ions and loss of activity.

Avoid strong chelating agents:

Avoid combining with strong metal ion chelating agents such as disodium EDTA, as they can steal the copper ions from GHK Cu, causing it to become ineffective.
