Pentapeptide-25 is a synthetic pentapeptide that mimics the function of mitochondrial uncoupling proteins (UCPs).
It is mainly used in the cosmetics field to reduce fat accumulation and improve the appearance of cellulite by promoting thermogenesis and accelerating fat metabolism.
Effects And Efficiency
By reducing the thickness of subcutaneous fat and improving the structure of fat cells, pentapeptide-25 helps achieve a visually slimmer effect and enhances skin elasticity.
A 4-week clinical test showed that 20 female participants applied a cream containing 50 ppm pentapeptide-25 twice daily on their thighs. Compared with the placebo group, cellulite was reduced by 13%.

Pentapeptide-25 is commonly used in serums, lotions and creams, targeting areas prone to fat accumulation such as the abdomen and thighs.
