Alpha Arbutin Powder

Alpha arbutin Powder is a hydroquinone glycoside compound which extracted from the leaves of plants in the ericaceae family.It can inhibit the activity of tyrosinase in the body and thereby preventing the production of melanin, reducing skin pigmentation, removing age spots and freckles. And also it has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects. The molecular structure of arbutin contains two structural and functional groups: one is a glucose residue,  the other is a phenolic hydroxyl group and It is mainly used in cosmetics. T

Skin Whitening: By inhibiting the activity of tyrosinase, alpha arbutin blocks the production of DOPA and dopaquinone, so it can inhibit the synthesis of melanin.

Efficiency comparison: Studies shows tha it is more than 10 times more capable of inhibiting tyrosinase than β-arbutin. At the same concentration ,the whitening effect of alpha arbutin is more significant.

Lightening of pigmentation: alpha arbutin has a good improvement and therapeutic effect on scars, freckles, sunspots and age spots caused by ultraviolet burns.

Antioxidant:  Alpha arbutin has a certain ability to scavenge free radicals and help delay skin aging.

Moisturizing: Due to the presence of glucose residues in its molecular structure, alpha arbutin has a certain moisture-absorbing and moisturizing effect.
