Formulation notes:
Alpha arbutin tends to break down in acidic environments, so the pH of creams, lotions, and similar systems should be kept between 5-7.
It's recommended to add alpha arbutin which previously dissolved in a small amount of water, to the cream after emulsification at around 50°C.

 

It's common to add some antioxidants (like sodium bisulfite) in the formula to prevent discoloration.at the same time, it can be paired with natural plant oils containing oleic and linoleic acids or permeation enhancers to promote absorption and synergistic effects.
