Skin Lightening & Brightening: Kojic acid is a potent tyrosinase inhibitor. Tyrosinase is a key enzyme needed for the production of melanin (the pigment responsible for skin, hair, and eye color). By inhibiting this enzyme, kojic acid reduces melanin synthesis.

Targets:

Hyperpigmentation (dark spots, age spots, sun spots)

Melasma

Post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH - dark marks left after acne or injury)

Overall skin brightening and achieving a more even skin tone.
