Descriptions
Oligopeptide-34 is a synthetic peptide that decreases melanin synthesis by down-regulation of TRP-1, TRP-2, MITF, and Tyrosinase. It also blocks melanosome transfer from melanocytes to keratinocytes leaving a significant skin-brightening effect.

Tests with a preparation containing Oligopeptide-34 proved significant inhibition of melanin synthesis and decreased tyrosinase enzyme activity on melanocyte cell lines in a concentration-dependent manner.Thanks to the down-regulation of TH1-type pro-inflammatory cytokines, Oligopeptide-34 decreases dermal lymphocyte cell proliferation leaving a noticeable anti-inflammatory effect.
